Xi’an Jiaotong University (XJTU) is one of the top 10 universities of China and the best in Xi’an. Since the establishment in 1896, XJTU endured and contributed so much to the country and the people that Jiaotong has become a symbol of national elite that are not only at top of what they do but are also fully devoted to what they love – the Chinese nation and the people. For the last 5 decades of the 20th century, many graduated from XJTU to become the top engineers, scientists and political leaders, not just in the nation but around the globe. XJTU may not be the most recognized and best financed now, but it has definitely played a major leading role in the boom of China for the past few decades.
